Writing Blitz Rundown 2/24/2013

After spending four days with out at home Internet (eek!), I was too terrified to access All I Ever Wanted because it’s in Dropbox, and the Cloud contines to confound me.  Looks like it was just a screw up by a tech who was sent out to unhook someone else’s internet, so we got it fixed by Saturday evening.

While I was in deep mourning/galloping crazies from lack of Internet, I had an idea for a short(er) story I could work on/bang out, a little bit of BDSM fluff because after reading Country Mouse, I had a hankering for some serious silce of life to go with my “Yes Sir/good boy”.  So yeah, the tentative title is Little Earthquakes and I hope to get the first draft done by next week so I can get back to All I Ever Wanted.

Writing Blitz Rundown 2/17/2013

So, due to a several extra income deficiency, I spent my writing blitz at home and proceeded to push a bit more with my TLW sequel, which I’m tentatively titling All I Ever Wanted.  There’s an argument here, a short one, and I realize that I hate writing arguments.  Hell, I hate reading them.  I hate hearing them. I’m so non-confrontational I’m surprised I have a pulse.

But I’m aware that normal people occasional have disagreements, and my boys needed to hash something out.  So i gritted my teeth and let them have it.

So, Niki, whatcha writing?

Well, I have one finished novel titled “This Little Whatever” that I’ve sent out to a publisher that I’m going to call “Publisher Number One”.  I spent a good year on this book, and I’m already rewriting the sequel, so I hope I’ll be able to say that I’m a published author of a series.  It’s been about six weeks since I sent my little baby bird of sweat and tears out into the big scary world, and you know what that means?

Time to obsessively check my author email over and over and over and over and over again until I hear something!  Yay!
